Girlvana for Teens
Girlvana Yoga is a program designed for pre-teen and teen girls to learn yoga and meditation. The methodology is rooted in a self discovery, tools to manage stress, and an understanding of honouring and loving oneself.
This is a slower-paced flow class geared towards those new to yoga or preferring a slightly gentler class. Time is spent breaking down sun salutations and other poses fundamental to a Vinyasa practice. Props and modifications offered for proper alignment and ease in the postures.
This style of yoga is meditative, slow paced, and helps to balance an active lifestyle. It explores long deep stretching to help with flexibility and joint mobility. All levels are encouraged and welcome.
